We’re pleased to announce the next stage of Vonex’s evolution. On 9 October 2025, the Supreme Court of New South Wales approved the Scheme of Arrangement under which Maxo Telecommunications Pty Ltd (“MaxoTel”) will acquire Vonex Limited (ASX: VN8).
Following overwhelming shareholder approval, the scheme has now become effective, and as part of this process, 9 October 2025 marked the final day of trading in Vonex’s ASX listing. On 20 October 2025, MaxoTel will become the sole shareholder of Vonex’s telecommunications business, and formal delisting from the Australian Securities Exchange will occur on 21 October 2025.
For Vonex customers, channel and wholesale partners, this change brings significant opportunity. Vonex will continue to operate under the Vonex brand you know and trust, now backed by the added strength, resources and specialist expertise of MaxoTel. Together, we’ll accelerate innovation and automation in our hosted PBX solution and enhance reliability through combined infrastructure and capability, creating one of the most powerful cloud communication and connectivity providers in the market.
