The nbn® Free Fibre Upgrade program is subject to the following additional terms

Minimum Commitment Period

By accepting the Free Fibre Upgrade, you agree to a minimum commitment period of 12 months for the upgraded nbn® service with "", from the date your fibre upgrade is completed and activated. A $220 fee will apply for cancelling your service or switching to another provider within the 12 month commitment period.

Plan Requirements

You must maintain a plan with a minimum speed of 100Mbps for the duration of the 12-month commitment period. A $220 fee will apply if you downgrade your plan to a speed below 100Mbps within this period.

On-Site Assessment

An NBN technician will assess the feasibility of the fibre upgrade at your premises. In some cases, additional installation fees may apply if extra work or materials are required to complete the upgrade beyond the standard upgrade process. Any additional costs will be communicated to you in advance and will require your approval before proceeding. You will be responsible for any associated costs and they will be applied to your account.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the nbn® Free Fibre Upgrade program, your premises must be serviceable by Fibre to the Node or Fibre to the Curb and be within the nbn Fibre Upgrade footprint. External factors may prevent the Fibre Upgrade, which will be determined by the nbn® technician during the site assessment.

Appointments

Someone over the age of 18 must be present for any assessment or installation appointments. Rescheduling of appointments close to the appointment time, missed appointments, or after hours appointments may attract additional appointment fees which will be applied to your account. Refer to Additional Charges for nbn Services for applicable fee details.
